The vapor-phase chromatographic pattern of the essential oil of Thymus camphoratus Hoffmanns. & Link is discussed. Analysis by gas-chromatographic (GC) and infrared spectral (IR) methods of the volatile oil steam confirmed that a-pinene, camphene, limonene, 1,8-cineol, c-terpinene, camphor, terpinen-4-ol, borneol, bornyl acetate and alpha-terpyneol are the main components.Se realiza por primera vez un estudio detallado por cromatografía de gases (CG) y espectroscopia de infrarrojo (IR) del aceite esencial procedente de Thymus camphoratus Hoffmanns. & Link.
